Gaganyaan is India's first human spaceflight programme, run by ISRO. It aims to send a crew of up to three Indian astronauts to a roughly 400 km low Earth orbit for up to three days and return them safely. An uncrewed test flight, Gaganyaan-1, is planned for the second half of 2026, with a crewed mission to follow.
